We are an organization made up of motivated and passionate individuals, who have a common goal of connecting and supporting spinal cord injury and disease (SCI/D) survivors and their families throughout New Mexico. Although we are in our infancy, the group is working hard to build a network throughout the state that includes activities, special events, and education for survivors and clinicians.
Above all, we work to build hope and awareness for the needs, gifts, lifestyles, and desires of SCI/D survivors and their families. While including and connecting with communities and resources, we hope that the chapter and this website might be a resource portal for all.

The Chapter endorses a monthly support group that promotes camaraderie through friendship, education, advocacy, and recreation. The group offers the opportunity to meet others in similar situations, reflect the voice of individuals with spinal cord injury, receive education on aspects of life with a spinal cord injury, and last but not least, have fun.
Membership is FREE and we encourage not only individuals living with a SCI/D to join, but also their partners, family, friends, and caregivers. Medical and non-professionals may join as well, in the effort to participate and support.
